Tick on UI not appearing immediately #1

When kicking off a backup on the backup list page, the tick does not appear straight away, particularly with a large backup set. The backend is meant to return immediately having passed the backup off to another process.

An idea might be to allow the UI to set the tick immediately if the backend return cannot be improved of fixed.

Fixed. Very sharp UI response now that an RPC layer is used.
